By reducing the incoming voltage supply, voltage optimisation is designed to save you money on your energy bills. The level of savings you achieve will depend on your circumstances and needs (whether you’re an individual, or a business, for example, and how much electricity your equipment consumes).
Your electrical equipment will work exactly as it did before the voltage reduction – but will be less expensive to run.

If I increase my energy consumption, will I need to change my voltage optimiser?
If you are planning to increase your business’ electrical consumption, get in touch with us and we can advise on the best course of action to take regarding your voltage optimiser. It may be a case of changing the settings on your current unit, but if a different unit is required, we can arrange for delivery and installation.
Is there any financial support available to help cover the cost of installing voltage optimisation units?
Yes. The Carbon Trust-backed Energy Efficiency Finance scheme provides loans with competitive interest rates – which can be used to cover the cost of a voltage optimisation unit.

Do Apollo Enviro offer an installation service?
Not only will we perform a site audit for you and advise on the best possible solution for your business, but we can arrange and complete the installation of the required energy efficiency equipment on your site.
How long will it take to install the optimiser(s) on my site?
This really depends on the task at hand. As a general guide, however, we aim to complete all preparation work before we turn power off to your business, then we will install the optimiser(s) as required. The whole process shouldn’t take any longer than a few hours.
Will the installation require any downtime on my site?
While we aim to complete installation work in the shortest timeframe possible, we want to make sure it is done correctly. This will lead to a short period of downtime on your site. However, all preparation work will be completed before power is turned off to reduce the amount of time your business is without power.

I don’t run a business, can I still have a voltage optimiser in my house?
