Environmental Consultancy Services

With growing pressure being placed on businesses to become more environmentally friendly, now couldn’t be a better time to look into what options are available and how they could help your business.

Apollo Enviro offer a variety of services to assist your business in its drive to meet environmental targets and reduce its carbon footprint.

How could my business benefit from environmental consultancy services?

Firstly, the less environmentally aware a business is, the more it could be required to pay in carbon taxes (the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme, for example). So, bearing this in mind, one of the main benefits environmental consultancy services could offer your business is the opportunity to save money.

Tackling the carbon footprint of your business will also provide peace of mind that you are making a contribution to help protect the environment. This is something that can be used to improve the public image of an organisation, with a growing number of companies publishing details to show off their environmental protection efforts on their websites and communications.

What do we offer?

Apollo Enviro offer a range of consultancy services designed to help your business improve its everyday efficiency and save money on its utilities.

Some of the services we offer include:

Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)

ESOS is a mandatory energy assessment for large businesses in the UK which have more than 250 employees, turnover in excess of €50m and an annual balance sheet of over €43m. The assessment identified areas which could be addressed to reduce energy usage and lower an organisation’s environmental impact.

If you are unsure whether your business qualified for ESOS or if you would like a more in-depth look at the scheme, please download our ESOS Brief here.

Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC)

Carbon Footprinting Audits

A carbon footprint audit can help identify all of the contributory cause of your company’s CO2 emissions to gain an overall picture on its environmental impact. Highlighting the cause of these harmful emissions can help you address problem areas in order to reduce your carbon footprint.

Climate Change Levy (CCL)

The Climate Change Levy is a tax on the amount of energy an organisation (industrial, commercial and public sector) uses and is added to energy bills as a separate item to VAT. This money is then used to subsidise an employer’s national insurance contribution and to support energy efficiency and carbon reduction measures.
